Top of my list was Bosnia and Herzegovina and France. I thought the winners song was appauling, so cheesy and cringeworthy. The UK definately should not of come last, the song was alot better than many of the other countries that beat it.
I agree with Terry Wogan theres no point in Western Europe taken part anymore.
What I dont understand is why the votes arent scaled down, Eastern Europe is huge, the number of votes should reflect the populations of countries.
Who do you think should have won the Eurovision song contest this year?
I agree with old Tel. It isn't a 'song' contest any more. More a political stage for the Eastern Europeans. It's ridiculous. We may as well just not bother any more. I feel sorry for Andy Abrahams - he most certainly didn't deserve to come last.
Reply:I don't blame Wogan for wanting to pack it in. What a load of old cobblers. the Eastern block countries have cornered the market and will never let it go. Can anyone either hum or sing the Russian entry ? As for the whirling Dervish skater, the frantic violinist and the mournfull singer Time to pull out and let them get on with it, the whole thing has become a huge JOKE.
Reply:I loved Israel and Turkey for some reason. The UK certainly wasnt memorable or amazing, but it deserved more than last place. I thought the winner was abysmal. Bland, formulaic cak.
Reply:Not a hope in hell out song was absolutely crap, the Latvian song was brilliant.
Reply:I totally agree with you. My top of the list was Serbia, France , UK, Turkey and Bosnia.
Reply:err no idea didnt watch it but for once i agree with wogan i think even if madonna was representing England we wouldn't win
Reply:I think that they were all really bad and they should lock them all in until they all promise never to sing again
Reply:Finland.
Reply:France, Spain or Azerbaijan.. Russia was kinda nice though
