Last time I checked Israel was in the Middle East not Europe?

Why does Israel have a song in the Eurovision Song Contest?
If you find out , let me also know. It is not only Eurovision but other European competitions as well, such as Football , Basketball etc. It's not that I have something against Israel , but it is odd, isn't it?
Reply:For the same reason Turkey is in the EU,. MONEY, exploitation, cheap labour, the advance of the "Federation of Europe", the Islamification and multiculturalisation of the West, a supposed "pro- semitic" solution to what is happening in the Middle East? Who knows? The whole thing has become a political farce, a device to score political points over other nations, how low can we go? Not we the electorate in our countries, but our supposed rulers who engage in this corrupt fest? Time it was put to sleep and real issues dealt with, there really are more important issues at stake here. Nil points to all. They/we need to get a life. Whilst half the world is watching this c**p, the other half are eating it!

Turkey isn't in the EU Willow. Not all of Europe is in the EU.
Reply:amm good one. i think in sports, arab states national teams didnt show up against us. so we were doing our world cup qualifiers in australia for a while.. i guess europe is closer..
