Does anyone else out there think The Eurovision Song Contest needs to be drastically changed???

ie: No more Political voting; a possible jury vote as well as a public one; only 1 Semi Final instead of a ridiculously confusing 2; longer song times and more people allowed on stage; the traditional way of calling out the votes from 1 to 12, instead of 1 -7 flashing on the screen for a split second; a longer contest to accommodate these changes, even if it is 4 hours; a ban on **** presenters; a ban on **** presenters trying to be appallingly funny and why is it that the U.K. and Ireland, and possibly Malta, are the only countries in Europe who speak ENGLISH and yet, the whole contest is in that language??? Most of Europe probably can't understand the bloody thing anyway! I mean, it's not like America's watching is it?





Russia was absolutely **** this year and should never have won. Did you all notice how the countries which gave it 12 points were Estonia; Latvia; the Ukraine; Georgia; Armenia and other FORMER SOVIET COUNTRIES that are now "new republics" %26amp; former Satellite states?

i didnt think russia would win too.... i thought it would go to sweden, but there you are!!!!!





propbably many songs are in english because it is a widely -understood language, unlike most other languages, so a wider audience is targeted at the same time.... i for one, never vote for a song which i dont understand.... so only english and italian songs for me!!!
