How many points did they get?

Where did England come in the Eurovision song contest please?
They came second from last with 19 points(Ireland were last).





We recieved 7 points from Ireland and 12 points from Malta (There has always been a good connection between Malta and Britain).

finneshed second from bottom ahead of ireland who had only 5 points.

Reply:Second from the bottom. Ireland came last. Ireland gave us a few points, can't remember how many, Malta gave us twelve points, think it was a sympathy vote. It was a farce as all the Eastern European countries voted for each other, didn't seem to matter whether they liked the songs or not. We could have had the best song ever to have been entered before, and we still wouldn't have won! All a foregone conclusion, really!
