Who votes for the eurovision song contest winners?

Is it a public vote?

Who votes for the eurovision song contest winners?
Yes it is a public vote, the person who tells them what the votes are is just a representative from that country. It goes all around to each represented country, they take the scores from each one and add them together, it normally ends up with 'Norway nil points'. Although I believe Great Britain got 'nil points' last time.
Reply:I only watch it in the hope something goes wrong as its live and also our commentator in England is comical

But its too political now with the votes / voting system
Reply:Yes it is public, and middle aged fat people vote.
Reply:Knobheads i presume. Does the Eurovision song contest really matter?
Reply:I never vote for my favourites coz it's still a question of politics. Neighbours voting for neighbours! It's not about the music at all!
