Will the United Kingdom ever win Eurovision song contest again ?

The political voting is an issue to be sure but Molitva won even among the Western European countries.





I think Andy Abraham is better than Scooch but it is not catchy (My Number One), forceful (Molitva), or humorous (Hard Rock Hallejulah.)





It might help if they entered in a very big name, had a Spice Girls reunion (Germany's trying that this year), etc.

To political and nobody cares except wogan who just tops up his pension fund,it is a joke.
Reply:Not with the way the votes are counted, the UK is very unpopular due to all the conflicts and wars we are involved in. The Baltic states have lots of votes against us.


Also as we keep entering rubbish, it doesn't help.

and yet every year we wheel out these twonks that cant sing dance or perform at all

Reply:not until they get in 'proper' songwriters and artists in, but alot of them don't want to be associated with the contest cos its a big joke

Who says that public voting is the fairest! It was fairer when a committee voted from each nation. Still, it's fun. It's great nobody votes for us and France and Germany. I hope that damn turkey puppet wins it! We won't.
Reply:i think there is a chance, if only the 'western' part of europe begins doing like 'eastern' europe does, ie, vote for the neighbours. but that's not really in the spirit of the cometition isnt it?

Why aren't the songs in their native lingo? No wonder tradition fades....everything is becoming samey!
