Should the Eurovision song contest make an appeal for the safe return of the abducted child in Portugal?

No i don`t think they shoud, there is more than enough coverage for 1 missing child, what about the thousand of others that go missing every year, Your`e becoming obsessive along with a few others....

Should the Eurovision song contest make an appeal for the safe return of the abducted child in Portugal?
Also the 50,000 a year taken and missing from the U.S!
Reply:Yes, brilliant Idea.

Shaming of such acts has worked in discouraging other socially obnoxious activity.
Reply:Im not sure, hasnt everyone already heard about it?

But I suppose it cant do any harm.
Reply:Would make no difference! We all know she is missing.

Reply:Birthday Greetings to you Maddie, I really wish I could say Happy Birthday xxxx
Reply:yes yes yes
Reply:What a fantastic idea you should email the BBC with it anything is worth a try. Well done you.
Reply:Yes for sure anything is worth a try my fear would be that it might send the abductors underground sort of thing
Reply:yes most certainly
Reply:I did a search of a newspaper serving a Portuguese colony in Massachusetts. Not one story.

It might be good, since the ex-pats here, regularly contact Portugal.
Reply:thats a great idea, have her picture behind the presenters in between songs
Reply:Its a great idea. Probably should do something in the US as well. I'm sure she has been sold to someone in Europe or the US.

Happy Birthday Maddie.
Reply:Yes they should its is a fantastic opportunity for people in so many countries to be exposed to this very sad story. But unfortunately Maddies aunt was on the radio yesterday and she already had the same idea. But when some one from the BBC tried to organise it on her behalf. they were told that the schedule was to tight so the couldn't permit it. its a great pity.
