Head count: who would rather have watched Dr Who on Saturday than Eurovision Song Contest ?

Why do we let the BBC get away with poor programming choices, and who else complains to the BBC ? If we get together we will make more noise that they will have to listen to.

Eurovision - 10 million viewers according to BBC, but other sources claim it's more like 5 million. BBC claim Doctor Who gets somehwere between 10-12 million.

Head count: who would rather have watched Dr Who on Saturday than Eurovision Song Contest ?
DOCTOR WHO ALL THE WAY!!

Come on - there are only 13 episodes a year and then they make us wait for them. What I don't get is why they couldn't have shown Eurovision on the other channel. I suppose no-one would have watched it if there had been anything like a good program on. Saturday night television sucks in general!
Reply:Eurovision is one night a year.

You get Dr Who many times a year, plus the repeats on BBC3/4 and all the specials.

Isn't the Beeb pushing Dr Who a bit too much?
Reply:Guess the viewpoints are that Euro wont be repeated (yayyy) and there were more scarier things on it than doctor Who.
Reply:I'd definitely watch Dr. Who instead of the rubbish that seems to be the norm.
Reply:bugger forgot dr who was on
Reply:I am not bothered about either, but I turned off the song contest after the 2nd "song/tune" if that is what you could call them!!! its an insult to folks, and you have to pay a licence for this tripe! as for Wogan, god its about time he retired!!
Reply:I was furious they took Dr Who off, all for some jumped up low budget has-been programme too.
Reply:nah i rather liked seeing Scooch make complete t*ts of themselves! bless
Reply:Dr Who for me, anytime.

that's what we need

People Power!
Reply:me! didnt watch Eurovision except towards the end when terry was getting really drunk and slagging everone off! that was funny
Reply:love,love,love Dr Who mememememememememe!!!!
Reply:I work with 400 people in a call centre, 83% young women, and I did a head count on Monday - only 12 people watched any of it and they all only watched the end bit. Waste of our programming time.
Reply:David Tennant any day
Reply:Get Eurovision off it proves and shows that A United Europe will not work! Dr Who should have been shown I was really naffed off. instead we get old dogdery Terry Wogan and a handful of Euro trash singers on stage! come on even the x factor failures are more entertaining than Eurovision!
Reply:Me !
Reply:Me! Eurovision, another waste of license payers money, rant, rant.
Reply:eurovision times one billion!
